Cheers! To My First Press Release!

    Promotion is the hardest part of the writing process. I have been asked to speak at some functions, but although it helped book sales for a short time, I was back to where I started very soon. You probably could speak at some synagogue functions: women’s groups. With your teaching background I’m sure you would feel comfortable doing that. Good luck.

I have just been , too busy with my other project, the Lasting Joy Club, to spend time reaching out to synagogues, etc. Also, the downside of Amazon is that unless you actually have hard copies on hand that people can purchase and have you autograph right there and then, it doesn’t work. Amazon has just came out with an author’s discount plan which requires a small investment, and I am inclined to do this when I have a speaking engagement. I am so not into all this selling stuff, it’s pathetic!
