More Traveling Food, but No Adventure

The great adventure has been postponed. We are literally “sitting by the sea” (the ocean, in our case) “and waiting for the weather” (that’s an Odessa saying). So far only one of you, Beautiful People, has figured out my disappearing act. Well done, dear Carol of Retired? No one told me! One more beautiful and talented blogofriend, lovely Narine of https://frogtraveler.blog has come pretty close.

I am dropping more hints.

Hint #1 is in my video:

Hint #2 is in the following post that I published BC (before Covid), three years ago:

Keep guessing, Beautiful People! Hopefully, the great adventure will commence in a few days.

    1. Still waiting for the weather, still a “small craft advisory.”

Ohhh.. Best to be safe though.. The rain has set in here with for day but it is welcome 🙏🏻

      2. Rain is not a problem; water from above falls into water below. It’s strong wings and choppy seas that are not friendly to a small sailboat. Even though Columbus crossed the Atlantic in boats that today would be considered “small craft,” but he lost one on the way.

Given that the weather has hampered your plans, it’s not likely to be a cruise. Maybe sailing?

    1. Thank you for stopping by dear Mimi. It’s not a big secret, but I simply don’t want to divulge everything until it happens, and so far, the weather has not cooperated.

  6. Ah! You are sailing to the Caribbean with lots of stops and snacks and music to keep you happy on your journey! Puerto Rico? Havana?

    1. Not that far, dear Dorothy, but just around the Keys for now. The adventure is to be going “on the outside,” i.e. the ocean, rather than the Bay, for the first time. Our old boat was not the ocean-going kind. I actually have a full galley and usually cook on the boat, but snacks are always helpful to feed the skipper (my husband) while we are under way.
