When your table is groaning under all the holiday goodies, do you really need an entire stuffed bird? In case you don’t, here is my solution to this dilemma, Beautiful People. Enjoy!
In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln issued an historic document that started with the following words:
The year that is drawing towards its close, has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies.
The Proclamation continues:
I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens.
President Lincoln has set the day apart for us by making it a National Holiday – great! But he also requested that we observe it, and how do we do that? By eating lots of turkey and stuffing – not the turkey but our own bellies! – with “the blessing of fruitful fields? Somehow I doubt…

Thank you, and you can pretty much use the same dressing for the whole bird. I used to do that, when kids were still at home.

Nope, she never does anything to attract attention. She makes sure nobody is around when she gets into kitchen cabinets and throws everything out then escapes and hides under our bed. The only reason we know it’s not the other two is because we can see them at the time we hear suspicious sounds from the kitchen.

Maybe she is the only one that gets out of bed to investigate the sounds 🤗🐱

No, she is the only scaredy cat; she reacts to all sounds.

Than you, darling. If you are vegan, you can use Tofurky Plant-based Turkey roast. I made it last year for Thanksgiving, and it was easy and delicious.
