This is the second post in this series from the archives of Dolly Aizenman, who not only shares amazing recipes from around the world, but also shares the history behind them. I selected this post from 2016 because I love eggplant or aubergine and always keep an eye open for recipes.

  2. Долли. это так восхитительно. и истории и рецепт. пока дочитала еле усидела . а потом бегом на кухню)У меня есть баклажаны .И я уже опробовала рецепт. Аромат разбудил мужа) Он у меня не будет “Наполеон”. он будет ” прекрасная Долли” или “тысяча лепестков Долли”Совершенно точно .что он останется в моей кухне и порадует даже родню живущую в Грузии.

      1. очень понравился. и всем моим) и уже успела похвастать ) и угостить тех кто успел прийти . Это при том .что у меня есть подружки жившие в Одессе. а вот этого рецепта они не знали.

      2. Мне так приятно это слышать, милая Бригитта! Подружки, наверно, гораздо моложе. В мое время этот рецепт был довольно популярен, только не все хотели возиться.

  4. Naples is such a fun and fascinating city that i do hope the name comes from there and not the crazy French emperor.
