Recipe for Joy

Dear Beautiful People, I have been remiss in reading your fascinating blog posts and responding to your kind comments, and I apologize to all of you, my faithful readers and supporters! Tonight is my first book tour, combined with a sushi class and an opening of a major project that has been gestating in my head  – but mostly in my heart! – for quite a while. Please wish me luck facilitating the LASTING JOY club, connected with an international network of Joy and Happiness clubs, originally started by Rabbi Dr Zelig Pliskin. Meet Lionel Ketchian, the founder of Happiness Club in the U.S.

Coming up: a new blog, dedicated solely to LASTING JOY. Stay tuned, Beautiful People!

Meanwhile, my seminary students are having fun rolling sushi with me. I’ve always believed that learning goes down better with food!

I can’t leave you without a recipe! For detailed instructions for making delicious sushi rolls, please click here.

I also can’t leave you without a story, and sushi should come with sake – in this case, white sake. This delightful legend comes from a great blogger Micky Bumbar, AKA Lord of the Drinks.

Finally, your prayers are requested by one of my students whose son is gravely ill. I hope you find it in your heart to pray for 9-year old Gabriel whose parents came here from Haiti to build a good life for themselves and their children.

My book is just one click away at amazon.com/author/koolkosherkitchen
