Miracle of Miracles – Paperback Is Out!

I want to shout like Motl and Chava, the characters in Fiddler on the Roof: “Wonder of Wonders, Miracle of Miracles!”

My book is out in real paperback that you can touch, feel, put on your bookshelf, or gift to someone you love! It is found on https://www.amazon.com/dp/1973535491?ref_=pe_870760_150889320.

Today’s word prompt is MIRACULOUS.  https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/miraculous/. I think it’s totally miraculous that there is an actual printed book, and it’s fairly inexpensive for almost 400 pages, and hopefully people will buy and enjoy it.

I can’t leave you without a recipe, so here is a totally decadent, but very healthy dessert that carries my blessings to all of you, Beautiful People, for Happy Holidays!

Hope you had a blessed Hanukkah, Dolly! Best wishes, too for the continued success of your delightful (literally!) blog. So many great recipes and too few people here to help me try them all…so enjoy the text that accompanies them in consolation!

      1. I had a Jewish friend when I first got married, The first time. lol
We ate Passover at his house, and I took some sips of Maneshevitz. (I know that’s spelled wrong.) And before the night was over, so was the bottle. Oopsie!! Why I have to abstain now that I’m in recovery!

      2. I hate Manishewitz wine (I know, it’s almost a blasphemy!). Thank G-d, there are so many excellent REAL wines on the market that are kosher – nobody is forced to drink that cloyingly sweet alcoholic syrup any more.

      3. Lol!! the sweet is probably why I drank so much!

    1. Oh, you are so wonderful, my favorite purple girl friend! I don’t know how to thank you! Now do me a favor and spit on it three times – it is supposed to bring me good luck (you didn’t know I was superstitious, did you?) Love you to bits! 😻

      1. LOL!! Spit on it??? Ok, will do! Does drool count?? ❤

      2. Does not! And incidentally, if you feel a streak of bad luck (G-d forbid!), you have to toss a pinch of salt over your left shoulder. Make sure you know which side your left shoulder is on!

      3. Oh, I know about the salt! My Granny did that!

Great news, Dolly! I will order it in the coming months, have it shipped to my kids’ address where I can pick it up in late spring: we are going to be there for Graduation Day!

      2. Graduating from Brown?

      3. Joëlle says:

No, Dolly: arriving from France nearly four years ago now she went for what we could afford, and that was a B.S. at Rhode Island College. But she has applied for graduate school studies at Brown and other places. We keep our fingers crossed: she is a dedicated student with an excellent GPA and good recommandations from her professors, but it’s a long shot, especially since they seemed to say that they already have someone there in her field of research… We’ll know in the spring!
Brown University is not far from where she and her brother live. She has told us that if she gets accepted there she will buy a bike and ride to school!

      4. Let’s hope and pray she gets into Brown for her graduate studies! It’s my son’s Alma Mater. Excellent school, as you well know, OI am sure. Congratulations on her upcoming graduation!

  10. Ура! Мои поздравления, Долли! Я, честно говоря, не “кухонный” человек, но всегда любила разглядывать картинки в маминых и бабушкиных книгах с рецептами. 😀
