“There’s something about pie, any kind of pie— gorgeous lattice top pies or rustic galettes, deep dish or pot pies, sweet or savory, fruit or vegetable, cheesy or meaty, hand pies from every corner of the earth… there’s something about taking pastry dough and wrapping it around, partially or completely, some kind of filling that makes it simply irresistible.”
This amazing recipe comes to you from lovely Annika of https://coniferesetfeuillus.com/2017/11/03/roasted-autumn-vegetable-pot-pies/. Please click on the link and enjoy!
Note: to make the dough non-dairy, simply replace labneh with my homemade prostokvasha (for recipe, click here) or any non-dairy yogurt.
Thank you for pingback.

Thank you for sharing darling. I love that you found a dairy-free alternative for the labneh. These are truly delicious!

My readers seem to love them, and I am planning to make them on Sunday. I love labneh myself, but unfortunately, it doesn’t like me any more, so I have to substitute with non-dairy alternatives.
Have a great day, dear Annika!

I love your coooking and wish you were next door because when your pie is in the oven and the free smells meanders to my home, I will ring your door bell and beg for a slice😉👌

I’m a big fan of pies whether they’re hand or pot, sweet or savoury. And then there are galettes, the free form versions, tarts and quiches. I may just make one this weekend.
Or crepes. I’m just that indecisive. 🙂

You make cook/baking sound easy and fun. I will never forget the BEST pie crust I ever made. After frustration of failures…. I made the next crust like my grandmother would. Forget the measuring utensils and use a handful of this, a dash of that, mix it together with your hands and BINGO! The best crust I ever made.

You are so right, dear Ren! I also learned to cook and bake by my grandmother’s side, and now, the way I specify those measurements in my recipes is, I take a handful, dump it into a measuring cup and look at the numbers on the cup. Whatever works! Have a lovely weekend, dear! 😻

If I’m not careful you are going to teach me how to cook. For me, cooking a pie means to thaw one out, un-box and heat up, or even a ‘pot-pie’. Cooking has never been one of my better qualities, if I even have any. I am fortunate that I married a lady who is quite good in the kitchen even though she thinks she isn’t, compared to me, she is great. I hope you are able to have a great week my friend. I hope you had a great Sabbath.
