August 2017 “G…”

An August theme in July from the Grrreat Esme the Recipe Hunter – jump in and participate, Beautiful People!

EsmeSalon

A, B, C, D, E, F ….. let me   think, could it possibly be that we have to go for g.

What would you have chosen for g ?
Let’s try something a tad different!  Would you like to write your own post?

I have been going around in circles, and eventually decided that I WILL deviate as mentioned last month.

You may say, I am totally goofy and you’re correct (please keep this bit it to yourself), so let’s try guest posting for August.

How will this be done?   You have to email me @ cookandenjoy@shaw.ca if you’re interested in this Goofy Guest Posting business, and I will send you an invite and you will write your very own post on my blog!  Do you like this idea of you writing.jpg your own post and I will publish it for you???

  1. It’s weekend, so I have decided that due…

So you want a recipe starting with G or any recipe? Sounds like fun and interesting. Does it have to be our own recipe?

    1. Dear Crystal, your questions should be addressed to Esme the Recipe Hunter as I have only shared her post and encouraged readers to participate. I have forwarded your questions to her. For the future, her e-mail address is cookandenjoy@shaw.ca.
      Thank you for your interest!

  4. Hi Daisy – Firstly thank you for your interest in the August G…uest theme on TRH. Dolly did email me your request, but I thought to respond directly here. Also a big shout out to Dolly for sharing this post on her blog as she does every month.

We are working our way through the Alphabet, with food related themes, but I have decided to deviate slightly this month, albeit still keeping with the “G”, but this is a G…uest post, so should you be interested, please email me at cookandenjoy@shaw.ca and let me know that you’re interested to do your very OWN post direct on my blog. It can be ANY topic of your choice, even unrelated to food, but it you like to add something foodwise, feel free. If you want more information and an invite as a ‘collaborator’ on my blog I await your email at your earliest convenience, then I will do the invite and you can write you own post on The Recipe Hunter blog. The collaborator invite, as per wordpress, unfotunately does not allow you to add images, so you will have to email it to me and inform me where it need to go and I will be more than happy to add it for you. Once I reviewed your post, I will also inform you of the ‘publish’ date and I am prepared to do one Guest Post per day for the entire month of August, so first come first serve.

For any other information, please email me, Thanks all for your interest and I am looking forward working and collaborating with you all.

    1. Dear Esme, thank you for being your gracious self and promptly responding to Crystal (her name is Crystal, not Daisy).
We have just started a 25-hour fast, so I don’t even want to think about food but on Wednesday, G-d willing, I’ll be ready to go back to the kitchen, so I’ll send you an e-mail then. It’ll be a triple G entry. Did I get your curiosity going?

  5. This sounds like a fun challenge. I’m looking forward to your reblog of your guest post on the 6th – triple G has *my* curiosity peaked. Since my last name begins with “G” I particularly resonate. I can’t help but wonder if Ghiradelli chocolate will be part of your offering. 🙂

    Have a wonderful weekend. Dolly.

    1. Unfortunately, Ghirardelli chocolates are dairy (oh well…). It’s not a dessert, and it should be up on Sunday. All I can tell you is that it was an experiment which was successful, and those thingies were INHALED, which was a good because they should be served hot, and when you reheat them, they turn to stone. Have I gotten your curiosity peaked even more?

      1. You knew you would! I’m looking forward to Sunday.

        Next guess – grass-fed beef?

Dolly, if I had any cooking talent or knowledge I would certainly send it to you but the only thing that I know about food is that I like to eat. So, I will continue to read about great meals on your blog but I don’t dare pretend that I know things that I don’t know.

    1. Dear Ted, first of all, it’s not my event. I am simply spreading the word for Esme The Recipe Hunter. Secondly, the guest post doesn’t have to be food-related, but it does have to have letter “G” either in the title, or in the content. I am quite sure that you have some poems that fit this criteria, but please communicate directly with Esme. She is a lovely person, and she will guide you. With your permission, I am forwarding this communication to her.

  8. Hi Ted and Dolly. Dolly thank you for responding to Ted and also emailing me his comment.
Ted, as Dolly said, this post need not be about Food, it can be on any topic and any niche Please feel free to let me know if you’re interested as I will be more than happy to send you an email invite to do a G…uest Post direct on my blog. Should you require any information just drop me a note. Looking forward to hear from you Ted.
